new tee design....

I submitted a t-shirt design for the Ancient City Crawfish Boil in St. Augustine next month. I've got it posted on facebook and hopefully enough people will like it and will win the contest.... I'd love to put that under my belt.... designing a t-shirt for a HUGE festival WOO-HOO! I've also picked up a lot of extra work from Georgia Printco... Things are busy, but that is good. SAVE SAVE SAVE... Must save money!!!! Can't live in a 1/1 apartment forever! I made stromboli last night... it was amazing ;) Have to do taxes soon... it reminds me of my impending birthday... ughhhh

St Patrick's is almost here and our shop is buzzing.... the his of the automatic press and the constant whistling or pattering of busy people moving around the tall boxes littering our press room is all I've heard all week. Green! Green! Green! yikes... it used to be my favorite color. Perhaps it is time to switch to a new one. At least people from all over will be buying my t-shirt designs.... hmmm... how invigorating!

Critz Tybee Run

I almost forgot.... I designed and won the city's t-shirt contest for the HUGE half marathon on Tybee Island (which I am running!!!) I was pretty stoked and it was a great honor to be selected out of ALL the talented people here in Savannah. WOO-HOO! I'll post photos of the race (and my fantasticle t-shirt) after I complete it :)  After that... Shamrock 5k here I come!!!  Its gonna be FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!

the weekend....

This past week has flown by... probably because I'm up to my eye balls in work so I don't have time to realize how quickly the day is going.... I wore one of my vintage reconstruction shirts and got a great compliment on it today. That was a perk. Its my besties birthday is also today... she is 25 and her birthday reminds me of my own looming destiny.... yikes...  a quarter of a century is scary and an impending landmark that I'd rather not approach, yet here it comes. Tomorrow Daniel and I are making a quick drive up to Hilton Head Island for a "snow day" on the beach. Bit of a misnomer, but I don't mind. It'll be nice to play in fake snow and then walk away in 60 degree weather... jeez, I can't wait to wear shorts. My hair is getting long... I was able to pull it up into a bun today, a new concept for me. Along with that length I have also noticed my dirty blonde patch peeking through the top... well actually now its progressed from the peeking and is nearly a helmet covering the top portion of my skull. But, who's keeping tabs.... dying hair is a drag.

Ahh... candy swap!

So I have fallen in love with this candy from france made by arnaud soubeyran and the beauty of violet flavored marshmallow is indescribable.... i never thought i'd ever favor anything with a "violet" flavor... Anyhow, onward... as I was scouring the internet for a site that would sell these beauty's in bulk and I fell upon this wonderful website dedicated to different candies... and candy swapping... count me in! Who ever wants to try these magnificant marshmallows... just swap something with me :0)
